Shrove Releases on Sunnyside Records!
I am so excited to announce the release of Shrove, my first quintet record, on Sunnyside Records. This record means a lot to me, and is my first real (recorded) foray into the nebulous world of "modern jazz". I am very proud of what it turned into, and I am so excited for y'all to hear it.
Thank you so much to the people who helped make it happen. I can't overstate the contributions of the musicians who brought this music to life, in no particular order: Michael Sachs, Aryeh Kobrinsky, Nathan Ellman-Bell, and Dov Manski. An additional huge thank you to Greg Uhlmann, who produced the record and was an invaluable partner from the beginning through the very end. And finally, monumental thanks to Nathanial Morgan, who engineered and mixed the session.
